"Once again we have spent a lovely time in your cottage, very comfortable bed. Your woodland is so beautiful and tranquil. We visited Acton Scott which was very interesting. We also took a boat cruise along the Severn in Shrewsbury, with very good commentary given about the interesting place we passed along the way. Thank you Dennis & Audrey for your hospitality, we will be back next year."

"Dear Audrey & Dennis, thanks for letting us stay at your lovely cottage. Sorry, we never met Dennis, but we met your lovely daughter. John wanted to re-visit Shropshire when he cycled when he was a youngster. It's beautiful even with the weather change. and we liked Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth the Prairie there is worth a visit. We loved the car ride along the North Ridge of the Long Mynd. Only got lost once, thanks to your informative directions on the A-4 sheet. Hope to see you again sometime soon. Hope you enjoyed your painting Hols, I did bring mine didn't have time so took lots of photo's, so hope to paint when home. Thank once again. Carole & John Malleus "

"Once again a treat to come back to this cosy cottage, with a lovely welcome from Audrey & Dennis. Sadly Jakes is no longer there, and we've missed his daily visits. The weather has been good, and it's been nice visiting all the places that we've grown to love. Very good meal at the Bottle & Glass. Lovely hot day out to Barmouth, 150 miles round trip. But well worth it. Travelled the steam train on the Severn Valley railway to Kidderminster, lovely scenery and very interesting. Thank you for the Wednesday & Friday much appreciated and enjoyed. We'll see you again, and we will look forward to it. Take care, Pam & Mac."

Walking

Walking

We are close to the Shropshire Way. See the leaflet in the cottage. Plenty of gentle strolls along the lanes look out over hedges to see the farmland and animals, enjoy the abundance of wild flowers along the roadside. Marvel at the views that make this part of Shropshire so special. Go up onto the Longmynd and do more challenging walks.
