"We have enjoyed this little part of the world, it's how life used to be and should be, little lanes leading to cosy pubs. Beautiful countryside, relaxing and quiet, a lot of wildlife, spotted quite a few bullfinches which are a rare sight theses days. Your garden is beautiful, you both must have worked hard creating it through the years. The cottage is great, comfortable and charming. Loved the paintings on the walls, we suspect the artist is 'Dennis' very good. Any way we could go on and on, lovely to meet you both, regard, John & Cindy."

"We really enjoyed our week in this lovely comfortable little cottage. Unfortunately, the weather was against us with lots of rain and mud! We managed to get out and about every and will look forward to coming back hopefully for a longer stay. Loved the food in the Bottle & Glass!"

"What a lovely week we have enjoyed in this idyllic cottage. Thank you so much for your help when we had a couple of little problems!!! Had a lovely lunch at The White Horse at Pulverbatch on Sunday. A wonderful day at Attingham - if you go Wednesday is best when the volunteers dress in regency costume. The views over Stiperstones are absolutely amazing and a visit to Carding mill is very interesting. Look forward to coming back again and will definitely recommend this cottage to friends. A big thank you to Audrey and Dennis."

What our visitors say

We are close to the Shropshire Way. See the leaflet in the cottage. Plenty of gentle strolls along the lanes look out over hedges to see the farmland and animals, enjoy the abundance of wild flowers along the roadside. Marvel at the views that make this part of Shropshire so special. Go up onto the Longmynd and do more challenging walks.
